Game Salad

To create a game with Game Salad, you don't have to be an expert at programming, but you do have to understand how the program works.

The four main elements of this tool are the project editor, the scene editor, the actor editor and preview.

The scene editor allows you to design the scenes where you can develop action and define the behavior of the existing actors.

The actor editor allows you to create animations frame by frame for all the characters in the game.

The first step in creating a game with Game Salad is to select one of the available templates. Within these templates, you will find platform games, table tennis, and shooting and racing games.

Games can be previewed by using the preview function or by uploading them to the Game Salad website. In order to use the games in Safari, you have to install a plug-in.
